Danielle and Abel
Abel, my GSD, was sold out from under my hands to Kristine Tanner/Maxwell/Fincham back on December 31st of last year. Long story short, my boyfriend and I had a messy break up and I got to keep Abel in the process. I had to move back home and my parents already had another dog. They said that they had no problem letting Abel live in their house with me, but that I had to either find a home for him soon or that I needed to find my own place to rent that would allow dogs Asap! Well, my parents (more of my mom) took it upon herself to try and find Abel another home without my knowledge. One of the ladies that my mother had contacted had put an add up on one of the Facebook dog sites where Kristine eventually found Abel (mind you, this was done without my mothers knowledge. My mother had no clue that one of the ladies had posted it up on the site). Kristine came over on December 31st while I was still at work and took him home, paid my parents $60 and left (again, I did not give any sort of permission). As soon as I got home from work that day, Abel was gone and all I could do was ball my eyes out. My parents would not release the name of the person who came to took Abel because Kristine did not want me finding her, but because my sister was there when the transaction took place, she gave me her name. I had messaged Kristine through Facebook messenger and asked her if she was the one who had my dog and she said yes, and that she is so sorry to hear what had happened with the whole situation, but was not going to give him back to me. When she made transaction, I later found out from my mom that she had agreed to let me go to her home to see him, but that was a lie. I had medicine for Abel's heart worms that he needed to be given and I told Kristine that in the message, and she said that she would give him what she had at her home. After being distraught, my ex-boyfriend and I teamed up in January and went to the Wadsworth police department and talked with Sgt. Ballway about the situation. He said that the sale of my dog was legal and there was nothing that he could do. He said the only thing I could possibly do is to file a suit against my parents and sue them for "selling my property" and my parents could be facing jail time and fines and then Kristine would have to give me back stolen property. I looked at him with tears in my eyes and told him there was absolutely no way that I would be willing to break my family apart. So basically after hearing from Officer Ballway stating there was nothing I could do, I gave up. Well, my friend texted me one Saturday afternoon stating that Kristine was selling my dog Abel on her personal Facebook page for $300 and for absolutely no one to share her post. 😔
Kristine refuses to even let me buy my own dog back. I still legally own Abel as I did not sign any transfer of ownership papers which is required by the State of Ohio. I am fighting to get my dog back. Kristine has a long history of doing this and worse to others. Do not buy or support from this byb she runs Volfango Working & Sport Dogs in Wadsworth Ohio
Recently in October 2016 we found Abel listed at a rescue for sale. A dog that is still legally mine as I as the owner never signed him over. It seems that Kristine gave my dog to Jami "Bock" Dabernig to profit off. Jami is well known if you research her to take animals and refuse to give them back that are not hers. In the 2nd picture you can see how messed up my dogs backend is an this was a picture that Kristine Tanner posted on her Volfango page. Since finding my dog the rescue page and the rescue owners personal profile has disappeared off facebook and Abels picture disappeared off Petfinder. I do know by court dockets that Jami Dabernig does not work has zero income and is on foodstamps and medical card. It seems by research she makes her money to live by taking and selling other peoples dogs for a high price that are not hers like my baby Abel! Please share
